Why this shot: This is a street within the city of Istanbul, Turkey. The city is like a labrinth, with many of the modern structures built on top of structures of previous generation which were built on top of ancient structures. How this has impacted my current prospective: This is a true urban FABRIC. I have refered back to my experiences many times through my urban studies as well as how buildings can interact much like people within a larger context. Process: No real process, I just saw the street and took a shot before I walked down it. I can almost hear my friends telling me to hurry up! Materials:This was taken with my Minolta on Kodak paper.
