Somewhere along the line I got too much equipment. Hage bags, monstrous tripods, metal cases, the fun of shooting was gone. If I needed something I could hardly find it. Plus, finding a Sherpa at 10th and Main is nearly impossible, well it is impossible. Something had to give, me essentially, give up the fight
So, today I have created a new smaller bag with simply a Minolta body, three lenses and a few essentails. Once again I can focus on the subjects and the Art they represent.
Picking this image for this show was easy, Pike Place Market is the essence of the street in Seattle. Just stroll around at sunset and later with a small tripod and shoot at around a 15th of a second and Viola, neon and skyline.
I love the magic of natural light and sunset and the building of man made lights, it is a very exciting time.
Thanks for viewing this piece.
