This piece was created for Mother's Day, to remind my Mother of all of the Weddings she helped us Girls with, always in our undergarments of white, lavendar or pink, while she fussed with our hair and make-up, this is me in my lavendar slip with my white dress hanging up on the closet door, the saying behind is also part of the gift, it say's, "mirror, mirror on the wall, I am my Mother after all," and as I remember dressing my Daughter for the prom, with her in her slip and stockings, primping her hair and make-up, this piece brought back memories..I enjoyed creating this, total time was all in an 8 hours work, wood, stain, decoupage, polyclay, mirror, buttons, miniatures, gloss, pearls, brass, spaghetti noodle hat, little poly roses, stained hutch from scratch..alot of work, but well worth it.
