I selected to create this piece digitally. I kept the figures simple and plain with little form because I did not want them to resemble anyone. I selected various shades of pinks to stand for the multitude of cultures, ethinicty and backgrounds that are effected by breast cancer. The pink and orange leaves represent a bright and hopeful future in the fight against breast cancer. The pink ribbon wrapped around the women symbolizes the comforting arms of friends/family and a shared bond.
