Inspired by the Art of Tarot call for entries, I wanted to draw a Tarot card based on my own limited knowledge of what the card means instead of what is "supposed" to be on the card per traditional artwork for Tarot cards. (I am not a reader.) The Moon, as I understand it, is about a time of confusion or indecision, where one needs to be patient, to wait, and let intuition be your guide. I portrayed this with the abstract cloud maze around the moon in the night sky over a crossroads in the path. Even the maze is not clear as in which way to turn to find your way.
Actual size is 2.75 x 4.75 inches, the same size as a Tarot card. I used Faber-Castell Polychromos on Bristol, then kissed it with a little black ink.
Thank you for viewing my art!
