This squirrel is the class project for one of my online, on-demand needle felting classes on CraftArtEdu. He's made of core fiber, Merino fiber, pine cone, beads. I love doing needle felted sculptures of animals. It is always an interesting challenge to really try to capture the essence of the animal. This piece is less detailed than he would have been had this not been a class project, but I'm very pleased with him. He now lives in my husband's office.
