I am an expressionist. I do very little abstract work however I have alway been inspired by abstract expressionist Robert Motherwell. I think it is the way he unleashes movement. The raw emotion I feel in his work that is what I like to try to capture in mine. Here using bold slabs of color and sweeping lines the inspiration in the angel is from Motherwell.
