One of my favorite artistis is Hieronymus Bosch. He created such worlds of abstract dark imagery. Yet it was grounded in real thoughts. He was a surrealists in a time that had never heard of such a thing. When I began drawing and developing my own style, I did not realize the influence Bosch had on me. I began seeing images that were, some would say, warped and dark. However, I enjoyed the exploration of these images and the dark overtones. It was a comfort to me to look at my finished work and see the faint memory of Bosch's work in my mind's eye.
