I choose the candy apple because biblically apples symbolize temptation and sin, what better to portray sin than an apple coated in sticky hard candy? The shimmer represents the irresistible allure and glamour "sin" often is surrounded by. I intentionally gave the figure glassy eyes to portray a soul vacant look. She has completely surrendered to her indulgence and her best intentions have checked out.
