"Down!" speaks of the growing trend to feed apocalyptic fears and manipulate public opinion through intimidation. It is a vision of dystopia. 

This piece is an appropriation of the psychological impact that visions of a futuristic militarized police may have upon citizens. It is an expression of how I would see such a mechanized being if it were standing in front of me. The being appears larger than life, peering down upon the world below it. Though repeatedly wounded, it remains strong in its resolute stance.

It is an image of transhumanized power - a melding of human biology and robotics.
