This piece was constructed with acrylic paints, crushed cd's and lightweight spackling. I got the idea admiring a mosaic piece one day at a VA Hospital! I thought, well what if I beat up a painted cd (that alot of people in my family just throw away), and fit the pieces together to make something! I went with spackling, and just roughly put it on the canvas board, painted it, and put the cd pieces together! VOILA!! CD ART was born! I have been calling it my form of "Trash Art" and so here I am in an extremely respectable "Recyclable Art Contest"!!
