Prospectus
We all change. We all grow and evolve. We all have things in our past that we would do differently if we were to be presented with the same situation today. This show gives you the opportunity to do just that. For Redux, we invite you to revisit a work of art you created in the past, and reinterpret it in the present.
The guidelines are simple. Select a past work of yours and create an interpretation through your eyes, thoughts, dreams, and ideals of the present. Use any media, technique or approach you wish. Please be sure to include both your entry and the piece it grew from. An artist’s statement that speaks to why and how this new work came about is also required. We suggest that you include some information on the process and materials used to create you entry and any significance they might have to the concept of the piece. We also encourage you to include detail shots of your entries. This will allow the viewer to full appreciate your work as small details can be lost in an online environment. .
