This was a challenging and yet fun project! As others are saying, I hadn't tried to do a portrait before. (only a tiny self portrait in pen and ink) Caren said she is a big coffee drinker and could relate to my "Joe" series so I wanted to include joe. I found it really interesting to explore a face and try to capture the person.
