This is my entry in the EBSQ 6th Annual Portrait Swap. I am pleased as all get out to be swapping with one of my dearest friends Kris Jean this time.
Since I work in metal in repousse and chasing, I thought I would try something in copper, a chasing for a portrait. Chasing is a technique that uses small chisels and punches to incise lines and texture into metal. This piece was a real challenge because this was the first portrait I have done and I had to deal with shading in a new way. I hope that You like it!
