"I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills"

- Willam Wordsworth

It's 2008 and that means it's time for the EBSQ Plein Air show. Every other year we invite you to gather your art supplies and head out to the great outdoors. Find the perfect spot and use your pencils and paints to reproduce what you see before you. This year there is a twist to the Plein Air show. We have narrowed the focus to one subject - clouds. Light and fluffy, dark and brooding or feathery streaks across the sky - it matters not. All that matters is that the primary focus of your plein air entry is clouds.

This is a strict Plein Air show. All entries must have been executed on the spot and from life. Pieces created by working from a photograph are ineligible. Due to the on-site and immediate nature of all photographs, photographic work is not eligible for this show. If you are including a slice of the landscape, please make sure that it fills no more than 1/3 of your composition.

**Please include the date(s) and location where the work was executed!**

An artist's statement is required for every entry. This statement should include Information detailing the materials, process and what made you choose your subject. Your statement is an important element in presenting your work online and helps make your work more accessible for the viewer. As texture or other small elements may be pivotal to the piece, detail shots are encouraged. Eligible entries need to meet all points of the prospectus. If you have any questions regarding the prospectus and its requirements, please send them to edu@ebsqart.com.
