This is Jenny Doss's self-described "cartoonish evil Sasha dog", well, cartoonish maybe, but look at that sweet face!!! This piece was painted for the 2003 Pet Portrait exchange. The rock I used for this portrait I had been saving for just the right time, as it was an interestingly shaped rock, and when I saw Sasha, with her sleek and leggy lines, I could see her greyhound-like frame folded onto this rock. She has a favorite stuffed bunny that I painted with her, a far cry from the ones the greyhounds chase around a track!
