My piece is a portrait of Susan Denison's cat "Treelo" on a cigar box purse. What struck me about this cat was not only her intense and beautiful eyes, but the description that accompanied her which stated that her nicknames ranged from 'Devil Kitty' to 'The Perp'. I took the former as inspiriation and painted in her markings with a little pair of devil horns on top. The top of the box was factory stamped '20 Churchills' - I liked the irony that the devil kitty was painted on box with the word church burned into it.
