This is a portrait of a teenager. Quiet and moody, teens often see themselves differently than their parents see them. That's the trick when doing commission work, to create an "image of self" that both can agree with.

This work won first place in the "graphics & drawing" division of the 2009 "Expressions" show held at the Art Center in Martinsville, VA. There were 225 pieces entered.
