'Purple Owl' is a painting I created when I was a junior in high school. It is a representational abstract painting of an owl with wings out stretched, landing on a branch. The owl was painted using only purples and blues, along with white and black. A palette knife was the only implement used to paint the owl.
My favorite part of the owl painting, aside from the owl's wings, is the small branch from the background tree trunk that looks like a hand with daintily raised fingers.
ACEO art Print #1 was enclosed in a time capsuel in Carroll, Nebraska, the artist's home town, on July 4th, 2011. The time capsuel will be opened on July 4th, 2036.
ACEO art prints of 'Purple Owl' are available for purchase through my eBay or ArtFire store.
