Inspired-in part-by the latest EBSQ show title, this painting is a kind of a hommage to all the outsiders you knew at school-perhaps you where one of them, the girl who was quiet at the back of the class,the girl who loved dark mystical things. This is her secret, bound by bandages beneath her clothing each day-I guess the obvious sexual awakening is there in the metaphores too.
