For entry into the 2011 EBSQ juried exhibit, On The Go - Motion Photography.

Meet Grace my kitten.  Or at least, what you can decipher of kitten form from this photograph of her in motion.  You would think this tiny girl would not be that fast, for she has only three legs, one having been amputated not long before this photograph was taken.  But the truth is, Grace is nothing short of amazing, and zips about my studio as if to flaunt the fact that she can indeed do anything any other four-legged cat can do, in fact probably  much faster if you asked her opinion!  I love the clarity of just that one lone hind foot amidst the blur....to me it's a reminder of how this small creature simply moves on from adversity, not missing the other hind foot...one does her just fine.

This photograph was taken with my Samsung Solstace cell phone camera, no digital enhancements except to crop it slightly.
