Lola was inspired by a picture of a 20's flapper who reminded me of how brave those women were. They bobbed their hair and hoisted their hems in spite of the established mores of the day. Lola was selected to be in a juried mosaic exhibit entitled Diversity in Mosaics at the Institute of Mosaic Art in Oakland, CA
