This was originally going to be a companion piece for the piece I entered into this show (which ended up being called "under a December Moon"), as "he" was going to be Lord of Night to her Lady of Light--but she wasn't finished and I kept changing my mind--then the Lord of Night was done in pastels and this one was in paint and I just couldn't get the two together. So, since "his" was finished at the time, I put that one in and changed the name..
