I intended to enter this into the One Word Concept: Balance Show.
although it is one of my older paper collages it remains one of my favorites. I was a gymnast when I was younger and then participated in the school diving team. I think of this piece both as a representation of athletic balance and emotional balance. There are a lot of things being thrown at her, yet she still reaches for some balance.
