Bark This is a stand of Aspens in Sheep Springs south of Flagstaff AZ, east of Munds Park and west of Morman Lake on forrest road 91. Many years ago the Sheep Herders used to write messages in the bark of the trees. No days the carvings in the bark are mostly initials of lovers or other simple messages such as the Peace signs on these trees. The painting is an orginal. Aspens are my favorite study while I spend my summers in Munds Park in the Northern Arizona High Country. Acrylic on 18x24 stretched canvas
