I created this bracelet as a reminder that censorship is still happening today. To be lumped in to a catagory, or have another person assume that their ideals and beliefs are better than yours simply because they are different or the right way to do things, really irritates me and the thought of giving them the bird comes to mind. For me it shows how close minded some people still are. Different religious beliefs, sexual habits, political beliefs, cultural customs, artwork, ideas and in general -free thinking should be celebrated, not condemned. For many, sexuality and body parts are the biggest tabboo, so I created this bracelet along with the "birds". In this bracelet I used fimo to make penis beads, boobs, and people 69'ing. I have added them to an assortment of beads which include wooden birds, white wooden beads above the birds, cats eyes, tigers eyes, stone chips, abalone beads, shell beads, glass beads, sterling silver jump rings and pins, and sterling silver-blue stone necklace used beads from it to add more color to bracelet.
