This is my entry into the December Jewelry Show. This pin is made using a technique called Keum Boo, a way of bonding 24 kt. gold to fine silver. The top piece also has chased lines and some gentle forming to give it some dimension. I also used Dichromatic glass for the stone and ebony for the drop. the top part of the pin has been burnished in a tumbler with steel shot. I am quite excited about the way that this pin turned out and I hope that you enjoy seeing it.
