Art: Ebsq show Little Red Kangol (altered book) by Artist Andrea L. Hermitt
I was inspired to make this altered book by the EBSQ March art show. I updated the pictures and story to fit into modern Ghetto culture. Here are some exerpts:

"NANA lived IN THE PROJECTS, SIX BLOCKS FROM BUILDING WHERE LITTLE RED-KANGO LIVED, and just as Little Red-KANGO WALKED OUT THE GLASS DOORS OF HER BUILDING, a JUNKIE EVERYBODY CALLED WOLFIE met her. Red-Cap did not know HOW wicked he was, and AND WAS NOT SCARED AT ALL...."

and "

...'Oh! NANA,' she said, 'what LONG FINGERS YOU HAVE!'
'The better to TOUCH you with, chilE,' was the reply.
'But, grandmother, what RED eyes you have!' she said.
‘I KEN STILL see you, my dear.'
'But, grandmother, what large ARMS you have!'
'The better to hug you with.' "

You will notice a mixture of capital and lowercase letters. Whatever I added or changed in in caps. The book is held together with a butterfly clip so the pages can be separated if the buyer wishes.
