This piece was inspired by my daughter, who has always been terrified of bugs. However, recently, she is simply blooming and conquering fears of many things, and so this piece is symbolic in a way... I have the joy of witnessing her "releasing" her fears and allowing them to be free~ both the scary ones and the beautiful ones... Pyrographed (woodburned) on solid pine and painted with acrylic paints, and then coated with protective varnish.
