This is one of my last pieces of the micze floral 2004 series. I really enjoy using Van Gogh Sunflowers as my inspiration as far as the technique in the shapes of the flower itself. I live in an area where sunflowers grow abundantly. I kept the background vibrant yet rich in colors and blends to draw the viewers eyes even beyond the flowers.
