Pumpkins are my favorite squash. They come in so many different shapes, sizes and colors. I continually try to raise 'a world record' pumpkin in my garden, but have yet to discover the secret to growing one larger than 50 lbs.

I've taken the pumpkin form and turned them into original characters that I call 'Kim's Punkin' Heads.’ (I used to sell them as dolls and in painted wood crafts years ago. Maybe it's time to revisit them and bring the designs back).

Boo Bat is trying to be so scary since he can't fly. He tried and he tried, but the weight of his stacked pumpkins keeps him firmly on the ground. Now Boo Bat is waiting to grab any trick or treaters that gets too close. Happy Halloween everyone!
