For the EBSQ Flower of the Month Show for January 2005, my version of roses painted asian style using heavily-pigmented artists oils, which adds a richness and lustre. The chinese characters to the right are from the Life's Spirit verse from the Tao, meaning "The spirit of life never dies. It is the infinite gateway to mysteries within mysteries. It is the seed of yin, the spark of yang. Always elusive, endlessly available." The chinese characters lower left are my name along with my chinese "Theo" seal, a memorial to my cat muse, gone but never forgotten. On gallery-wrapped canvas, no need for a frame, ready to hang!
