These gorgeous roses are created from recycled magazine pages. I carefully choose pages with soft shabby chic-ish colors so there is a delicate softness to each and every rose. The roses are then given a quick blast of white paint to soften the colors even more. I leave a bit of the text of the pages showing for added interest and to add to the whole shabby chic, cottage, upcycled feel of the piece.

The ribbon accent tops this wall hanging off perfectly. The whole piece is hung by ribbon that is a soft pink with white polka dots--very cottage chic.
