This little watercolor / pen & ink sketch was done for the August, 2012 EBSQ Prairie Flowers exhibit. On a recent visit to western Washington state I saw these wildflowers in fields & along the country roads. These delicate and yet very hardy flowers add a dainty touch to the wild grasses that surround them.
