This piece I did wanting to be able to feel the texture of the flowers and the city below~ The poppies are VERY textured and the city is faintly so~ Lots of rich colors, mostly shades of ochre and yellow with a hint of paynes grey and even less of venetian red at the bottom~ To me, the rough bottom represents the city behind the poppies, the poppies left in a warm haze above the city~ Always original, by Eridanus Giffin, collected, gallery represented artist
