This is one of my latest pieces and one of two entries I did just for FOTM May 2006. It features the japanese double headed peony in two styles, one botanical and the other graphic, depicted in the form of a tattoo gracing the body of the illusive black jaguar, also known as the black panther. The black panther expresses grace, strength and beauty, all attributes of this magnificent flower which has been used in art, throughout the ages, to symbolize all these things.
