This is #24 in my mini art quilted aceos. I used a photograph of a pansy that I had taken last spring at the Denver Botanical Gardens as my inspiration and template for this mini quilt. The original photograph was of a yellow and purple pansy, but I decided to punch up the color just a little bit more and used orange, navy blue and a pink and orange batik as my pansy. I embellished the pansy with embroidery floss and beads.
