This was done specifically for the flower of the month theme Orchids. What I chose was not a specific type of orchid, but a flower with the basic structure of an orchid. And since I was creating a fantasy orchid, why not add a fantasy creature? So we have a cute little fairy cat sitting next to this prized orchid.
