I love these flowers and their bold, bright colors and their spicy peppery odor and taste. My grandmother grew them and would cut up all parts of the plant for salads and other meals. I would pick them and eat them by themselves and save a few to put in the little small jelly jars my grandmother would put her homemade jelly in. Every part of this little flower is beautiful. It always amazes me that I never see them at florists or in arrangements, unless that person grows them. This piece is 11 X 15 " and frames to a standard 16 X 20. It is painted with Winsor & Newton professional grade transparent watercolors on 300# Arches of France hot press watercolor paper. It is treated to be protected from light rays and moisture.
