With the sudden change to cold temperatures, I was again inspired to paint winter trees. This is my rendition of my own Oak tree, snow falling and a full moon sparking behind.
It's painted with some unique artist quality Daniel Smith watercolor paints. The moonshine, is painted with a color called "Bronzite" which has a natural shimmer to it as do some of the trees. I used india ink to create the tree silhouettes.
