I choose Lily for this subjest as Lily signifies the purity and chastity. Women wore the flowers in their belts or ornaments in order to forget the sorrow of a lover’s departure; an alternative name of forgetfulness. In some beliefs it is associated with steadfast and perseverance. The symbol of purity however portrayed with lost hope between two life lines. - alfechelena
