The photo was taken just north of the San Francisco Peaks outside of Flagstaff on forest rd 151.  This area is know as Hart Prarie wet lands.

These cutleaf cone flowers are also know as Wild Golden Glow.  They were used by early settlers for medical purposes.  There were used for burns, indigestion and to promote good health.
