This photo was taken last week at Hart Prarie wetlands on the north side of the San Francisco Peaks just outside Flagstaff Arizona.

 Cutleaf Cone Flower also know as Wild Golden Glow.  Rubeckia Lacianata is used for medicinal purposes.   It was used by early settlers to promote good health and ease the pain of burns.

An added bonus of this shot was the monarch butterfly.
