My dog Zu is the neediest dog I've ever owned. He is a pit bull, and very sensitive, but also very needy. For this reason, I call him a "pity bull". I love him to pieces because he needs me so much. He calls me "the exalted goddess of perfection" (naturally). He thinks I can give him anything he wants. He even thinks I can change the weather. I know this because he whines at me when it is raining outside. He is always needing something... a treat, some petting, his blankey. When I ask him, "Zu, do you need something?", his reply is always "Yes, please, and give me too much. What's taking you so long?" Imagine my dismay when the other day he asked me for some art nouveau style wall paper for his corner of the dining room (which is what he considers his "own bedroom"). Really, Zu, wallpaper? Yes, please, and it must be a floral pattern, depicting soft, yellow-green hellebores. Hmmm. Okay. Zu must have what he must have. :)
