This piece makes me want to go for a walk in the woods. It was inspired by a walk on a crisp day in late October in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (the UP).I 'm on a trail looking up at the trees and rocks. I purposely cut off the tree tops to make the viewer sense being beneath the canopy of trees..
