This unusual floral piece is made from some of the most rich and magnificent opalescent art glasses available today. It features dramatic coneflowers in intense layered tones of red, purple, gold and green. The borders are of a wonderful amber gold, chartreuse and deep purple opal glass. The backround is plain window glass, allowing for drama and color without blocking too much sunlight.
Each of my pieces is a one of a kind original. You won't find these in the mass produced import sellers auctions', or in any pattern book. Every piece of glass is carefully selected for color and texture, then hand cut, ground, leaded soldered, puttied and waxed. They are crafted in the traditional lead came method, used for centuries in cathedrals and fine homes.
These pieces have hooks attached in the zinc frame, ready for hanging.
