Here we have a purple cone flower, also known as echinacea. A very bright, cheerful, and playful piece that is likened to a stained glass window. The painting has a retro feel ala Peter Max. Each segment of the painting has a multitude of colors due to the use of glaze and crackle medium. The sun, monarch butterfly, and "head" of the flower also sparkle because of the use of a pretty glitter glaze. It is textured and durable, sunny , as well as unique! Coated with several layers of glaze and varathane varnish for protection. Will easily fit into any standard 8 x 10 frame.
