I enjoy trying to capture a cats personality or antics in my paintings. This odd eye white cat is surely feeling camouflaged under this blanket of Echinacea. Several of my cat paintings have up close cats peeking out from various kinds of flowers, but this one is one of my favorites because of the purple. I love the color purple and try to use it when ever possible in my paintings. This is an ACEO I painted on watercolor paper using gouache . This little kitty is ready to pounce right out out those beauties!
