The "Golden Bunch" is the most common of the crocus and for this piece I wanted to make this little flower larger than life. My work is very flowing and has a lot of movement, this has become my trademark. I never use pencil to outline my design and composition. I find this too restricting, all of my works are spontaneous and in the moment. Each is unique and very much influenced by my mood and energies at the time. Colors spring into my mind and suddenly I am painting.
