
I did a bit of research on the “Butterfly Bush” otherwise known as “Buddleia.” It was educational for me because I really had never heard of it. I found out it comes in all kinds of colors and really can attract butterflies by the hundreds. I learned that it’s flowers have on the average, four petals and each bunch of flowers look like they kind of grow in the shape of a cattail.
Known as the Butterfly Bush because their strong scent attracts butterflies, bees and moths. Some types with the red flowers attract hummingbirds.
